Nutrition
Families provide each child's snacks and lunch. Sharing meals from home allows children to enjoy familiar, comforting foods while practicing independence and mindfulness. It also celebrates the unique values and traditions that make every family special.
Mealtimes support social and self help skills. Children are encouraged to:
- Set the table
- Clear their plates
- Wash hands before and after meals
- Use child size utensils
Shared meals promote conversation, independence and connection with teachers and classmates.
